Choosing permanent cosmetics is a personal decision. These answers are here to help you feel informed, comfortable, and confident before your consultation.
Is it safe?
Yes. Disposable, single-use needles and single-use color tubes are used for every procedure. In addition, Universal Precautions as established by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) are strictly followed.
Might I be alergic to the pigments?
If you have concerns about sensitivities, a patch test may be performed prior to your procedure.
Is there downtime after a procedure?
You may experience slight swelling or redness immediately following the procedure, but this typically subsides quickly. Most clients are able to resume normal daily activities right away.
What if I'm not pleased?
Every client is seen twice. A follow-up visit is included in the fee. During that appointment, the initial work is evaluated and, if needed, additional color may be added or subtle adjustments can be made.
Can I see what it will look like before we proceed?
Yes. Before beginning, the design is carefully drawn on the skin using conventional makeup so you can preview the shape and placement. If you prefer, you may also draw the design yourself to show your desired look.
Is there a choice of colors?
Yes. Color selection is guided according to your individual skin undertones. This is an important step in achieving a natural, flattering result.
How long will it last?
Longevity is influenced by skin type and color selection. All pigments will naturally soften and fade over time, and periodic touch-up appointments help maintain and refresh the color.
